Unrecognised Engineering Degree

“Topping-up” of unrecognised engineering degrees
For unrecognised engineering degrees, two pathways of “topping-up” are :
A M.Sc. taught course (postgraduate level) at a recognised university in the same branch or sub-branch of the basic degree; OR
If the degree is obtained from a four year (after STPM or equivalent)
engineering course :
Candidate has to pass Part 3 of the BEM/IEM examinations
If the degree is obtained from a three year (after STPM or equivalent) engineering course :
Candidate has to pass THREE subjects from BEM/IEM Part 2 and also pass Part 3 of the BEM/IEM examinations (see Appendix 1).
